Introduction
- Offshore Marine Specialist is responsible for ensuring the verification & validity of Project Vessels & crew & Project personnel documentation in compliance with International & regulations.
- Seamless scheduling, coordination, and management of Project team personnel to support offshore marine operations.
- This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to induce collaboration.
- Manage the training records of employees and ensure they are up to date.
What are you going to do
- Develop and manage PMT Personnel change schedules, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to labour regulations.
- Coordinate with various teams to optimize PMT Personnel assignments and maintain an updated scheduling system.
- Maintain and update all PMT Personnel related documentation, including certifications, training records, and compliance documents.
- Ensure that all PMT Personnel have current regulatory certificates and documentation, including safety certifications and training records.
- Provide comprehensive support for review & record keeping of Marine Vessel Certification as per International standards & Project required documentation
- Arrange travel logistics for PMT Personnel, transportation to and from work sites.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for PMT Personnel, ensuring all necessary paperwork and procedures are completed efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during these processes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of PMT Personnel assignments, travel, and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for PMT Personnel-related inquiries, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies related to PMT Personnel management and safety.
- Arrange work gear and assist with various safety trainings based on Company requirements
- Resolve promptly any PMT Personnel-related logistical issues, such as scheduling conflicts or travel disruptions.
- Provide comprehensive support for Marine PMT in documentation review and records keeping
Essential skills and knowledge
- Relevant years experience in Marine Offshore Transportation & Logistics. formal qualifications in Maritime industry &/or Bachelor's degree would be a plus
- 8 years of marine experience in Oil and Gas industry or Marine logistics coordination, preferably within personnel logistic role in Marine Offshore industry.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
- Extensive experience in a supervisory role
