Introduction

We are currently looking for a Facilities Engineer III to work with one of our biggest oil and gas clients, on a 1 year assignment with a high possibility of extension in Spring, Texas.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a major operator company and work on an international FPSO project!

What are you going to do 

The responsibilities noted below span across all operating FPSOs in the Enterprise

Warranty Support

  • Provide Technical oversight in the review, submission, and stewardship of warranty items to sustainable completion and sign-off
  • Work with the appropriate stakeholders to clarify scope and align on fit-for-purpose execution for identified warranty items
  • Mentor Warranty Engineer

Enterprise Opportunities Technical Advisor

  • Engage the appropriate Technical and Operations stakeholders within the Integrated Operations Organization to provide technical guidance to the Enterprise Opportunity Lead in the generation and prioritization of opportunities (Change Orders, QnAs, MoCs) within the Enterprise

Shutdown Planning Technical Advisor

  • Technical stakeholder representing COMPANY to oversee Contractor work efforts in major project/shutdown work scope planning and execution.

Maintenance Support

  • High Value PO review & approval
  • Review monthly Maintenance Reports to GoG

Ad-hoc technical support as required e.g. cold eyes support to technical activities

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related fields.
  • Advanced qualifications or certifications in FPSO operations, project management, or maintenance may be an asset.
  • Extensive experience (8-10+ years) in FPSO operations, maintenance, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in warranty management, shutdown planning, and major project execution.
  • Experience in collaborating with technical and operational stakeholders in large-scale offshore projects.
  • Proficiency in handling warranty items, including scope clarification and fit-for-purpose execution.
  • Strong understanding of technical standards and maintenance requirements for FPSOs.
  • Familiarity with processes such as Change Orders, Management of Change (MoC), and Quality Notifications and Approvals (QnAs).
