Introduction

  • The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is a critical component of our organization's safety and security framework.
  • The team is responsible for responding to emergencies, ensuring the safety of employees, and minimizing the impact of incidents on operations.
  • The ERT works closely with various departments to develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and provide training to staff.

What are you going to do 

  • Responding to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, hazardous material spills, and other incidents.
  • Conducting regular inspections of emergency equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Conducting emergency response drills and training sessions for employees.
  • Coordinating with local emergency services and other relevant agencies during emergencies.
  • Providing first aid and medical assistance to injured individuals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and emergency response activities.
  • Participating in post-incident reviews and recommending improvements to emergency response procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum High Secondary School or Diploma in fire
  • NFPA 1001 Fire fighter 1 and Fire fighter 2 certificate
  • Proficient in English language (Read, Write & Speak)
  • Valid Qatari Heavy goods vehicle with trailer driving license
  • NFPA 1072 HAZMAT Awareness and HAZMAT Operation Training certificate
  • Certificate in Emergency Medical Care, First Aid or EMT.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in large scale Process Industry with experience on similar activities as specified in scope of work.
  • Age limit 42 years (Selected Candidate(s) age should less than or equal to 42).
  • Awareness of safety, quality and environmental practices. Good initiatives, work attitude, work relationship with all levels of plant personnel.
  • Shall be capable of working on regular basis during hot, humid and cold temperatures and industrial work conditions.
