Brunel Energy is looking for Asset Integrity Engineer to join with one of our client in Saudi Arabia.

What are you going to do 

  • We are seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to join the Asset Integrity Group part of our Consulting Services Department (CSD);
  • Our Consulting Services Department provides Saudi Company and Joint Ventures with effective specialized engineering consultations and introduces viable technologies and maintains quality standards;
  • As an Asset Integrity Engineer your primary role will be to provide operation and project support, technical consultations and maintain standards on issues related to Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and Solutions;
  • As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following;
  • Provide operating facilities with guidance to establishing and safeguarding asset integrity throughout asset lifecycle (i.e., Design, Procurement & Construction, Operation & Maintenance and Decommissioning);
  • Initiate and/or conducts special studies for improving facilities or operation via specialized technical service in recognized engineering fields;
  • Define asset integrity and process safety targets and establish standards to sustain operational excellence;
  • Provide direction to the development and implementation of AIMS;
  • Work with engineering design offices in-Kingdom and out-of- Kingdom, acting as the focal point of contact for project reviews and technical matters related to his/her field of engineering;
  • Drive the implementation and improvement of an integrated medium to long-term AIMS for variety of asset types, including refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, LNG, terminals, and infield flow & trunk Lines;
  • Evaluate and adopt industry best practices to benchmark the Company against other international oil companies, taking into consideration the applicable regulations, codes, and standards;
  • Strategize and formulate an assurance and reporting process, to confirm that technical integrity barriers remain fit for purpose.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Material or Electrical. A master’s degree is desirable;
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional and technical experience as an asset integrity engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, with strong understanding in international standards related such as, ASME & API;
  • Certified as a fundamental Engineer (F.E.) license;
  • Has excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Comfortable to work both independently and with cross-departmental teams;
  • Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Fitness-for-Services (FFS), Asset Life Extension, Decommissioning;
  • Familiar with Asset Performance Management tools and solutions.
