More than just a month

At Brunel, Pride Month is more than just a 30-day celebration; it represents our enduring commitment to inclusivity and acceptance, resonating throughout the entire year. We recognize the importance of celebrating everyone, regardless of how they identify themselves, and it is essential to acknowledge the trials and tribulations faced by our LGBTQ+ community.

As a diverse organization, we understand that supporting our Pride family means more than waving rainbow flags and organizing parades. It involves fostering an environment where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued for who they are. This commitment is integral to our culture and is reflected in our policies, initiatives, and everyday interactions.

At Brunel, we envision a future where acceptance is the norm, not the exception. We strive to lead by example, ensuring that our workplace is a sanctuary of inclusivity. Our diversity and inclusion programs are designed to educate, engage, and empower our employees, promoting a deeper understanding of the unique experiences of our LGBTQ+ colleagues.

"If you remain silent, you’re contributing to the problem, so I decided to be part of the solution. I am so fortunate to work for an organization whose mission is Passion for People, so I knew I was not alone in what I was feeling."

Beyond Pride Month, we organize various events and initiatives to celebrate our Pride family throughout the year. These include educational workshops, panel discussions, and social gatherings that highlight the rich history and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. These activities are not only celebratory but also educational, providing valuable insights into the ongoing struggles for equality and acceptance.

However, our commitment extends far beyond these events. We continuously work on creating policies that support our LGBTQ+ employees, such as comprehensive non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits, and support for transitioning employees. We believe that true inclusivity is built on a foundation of respect, support, and equality.

Brunel hosts LGBTQIA+ seminar in Rio de Janeiro to discuss diversity in recruitment, especially to bring awareness to Trans bias.

Our dedication to this cause is unwavering, and we recognize that change begins within our own organization. We encourage all our employees to be allies, to speak out against injustice, and to support one another in the journey towards acceptance and equality.

In conclusion,

Pride Month at Brunel is a symbol of our commitment to celebrating diversity and championing the rights of the LGBTQ+ community all year round. We are steadfast in our belief that everyone deserves to be their true selves without fear of prejudice. As we continue to grow and evolve as an organization, we remain dedicated to fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated, and every individual is empowered to thrive.

Together, we can create a world where it no longer matters how you identify, but who you are as a person. Let us continue to stand in solidarity with our Pride family, advocating for a future where love, respect, and acceptance are universal values.
