Introduction

  • To safely and efficiently lead and supervise brownfield activities executed by the EPC Contractor related to Telecom Discipline for Project
  • Close follow up of the EPC Contractor scope with respect to
  • Highest Safety and Quality Standard, and in compliance to the contract requirement and the project objectives
  • Coordinate and manage all on-site, as well as support other project discipline to deliver successful projects, safely, on time and within the desired level of quality.
  • To deliver Brownfield Project on time under the Company Project Management System, to budget and to the required level of quality
  • Work with the project team to maintain relationship with contractor, subcontractors, vendors.
  • Coordinate to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections occur to support schedule
  • Prepare and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the Head of HUC BROWNFIELD and updates progress performance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress
  • Review the contractor’s construction and Brownfield deliverables such as Method Statements, procedures, etc as per company specification
  • Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, deliverables to support project execution

What are you going to do 

  1. Provides safety, Health and Environmental leadership by example to the Project Team and contractor, its subcontractor and site vendors

2. Responsible for ensuring the contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.

3. To deliver project phase requirements, milestones as defined in schedule in line with COMPANY Management System

4. To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Telecom operations and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.

5. To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all Telecom subjects, commissioning and ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.

6. To contribute to the engineering, design check for the Telecom aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements by providing inputs

7. To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-Simops visits, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.

8. To ensure Permit To Work preparation in due time with needed technical and HSE documentation, in line with standards.

9. To Ensure the proper quality and traceability of the fabrication assisted if required

10. To Ensure with Contractors/Subcontractors that all the built dossiers are properly handover to the Onshore and offshore Team.

11. Verify that the EPC Contractor’s reports are accurate with regards to progress reporting.

12. Development and mentoring of staff

13. To participate to REX and Lessons, Learned for the Company.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Engineer or technician with more than 10 years experience in O&G facility construction, project or operations.

· Technical background with Minimum of 10 years experience in Telecom Construction, Project, commissioning or Maintenance of O&G

· Experience in offshore telecom, commissioning and brownfield activities under SIMOPS Conditions.

· Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment processes and applications.

· Good knowledge of international codes / Standards related to Telecom

Proficient in written and spoken English.

· Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications

· Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT

· Deliver in a schedule driven project / environment.
