Introduction

Our client is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. They are also manufacturing and assembling their machines under one roof. Their high-tech production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce any designed product. Their clients are international leaders within the high-tech engineering domain. They are expanding their business, therefore we are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer / Software Test Architect.

What are you going to do 

  • Define and execute plans and strategies to eliminate software faults using a test-based approach.
  • Enhance the competence of automated testing within the software department while serving as a sparring partner for software architects and teams.
  • Establish and continuously improve the test automation framework, architecture, and CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with software architects and teams.
  • Design and develop test automation scripts and integrate them into the framework and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align on the testing approach and process.
  • Engage with the software test community as a representative of the organization.
  • Support teams in conducting software quality assessments and report findings on test coverage and residual risks.
  • Assist in test execution when necessary as part of the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Academic-level thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software verification and validation roles within technical environments.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and preferably Python.
  • ISTQB Full Advanced Level certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Proven experience in establishing and enhancing test frameworks.
  • Expertise in defining and implementing test processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation development and modern tools.
  • Familiarity with requirements management, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

First Contact

Meeting in Real Life

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
