Introduction

Our client is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. They are also manufacturing and assembling their machines under one roof. Their high-tech production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce any designed product. Their clients are international leaders within the high-tech engineering domain. They are expanding their business, therefore we are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer / Software Test Architect.

What are you going to do

Define and execute plans and strategies to eliminate software faults using a test-based approach.
Enhance the competence of automated testing within the software department while serving as a sparring partner for software architects and teams.
Establish and continuously improve the test automation framework, architecture, and CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with software architects and teams.
Design and develop test automation scripts and integrate them into the framework and pipeline.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align on the testing approach and process.
Engage with the software test community as a representative of the organization.
Support teams in conducting software quality assessments and report findings on test coverage and residual risks.
Assist in test execution when necessary as part of the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
Academic-level thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software verification and validation roles within technical environments.
Proficiency in C, C++, and preferably Python.
ISTQB Full Advanced Level certification or equivalent (preferred).
Proven experience in establishing and enhancing test frameworks.
Expertise in defining and implementing test processes.
Hands-on experience with test automation development and modern tools.
Familiarity with requirements management, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
