Join a leading mining company in Perth CBD as a Senior Project Engineer and play a key role in pioneering innovative renewable energy projects.

What are you going to do 

Role:

  • Evaluate current solar PV facility procurement and construction processes to identify cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Research and assess new market technologies to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop preliminary reports recommending technologies for in-field trials, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigations, and KPIs.
  • Integrate trial results into project estimates and assess benefits and risks.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with technology providers.
  • Oversee trial implementation and reporting within active solar PV projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements, including government entities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/ Electrical)
  • Mechanical / Electrical Design understanding is essential.
  • Proven experience in executing projects within the renewable energy sector.
  • Must have a current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
  • 4-6 years experience.
