Introduction

What are you going to do 

The PTW (Permit to Work) / LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the refurbishment of a floating production system by managing and overseeing the PTW and LOTO processes. This role ensures that all work activities are carried out in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements, focusing on energy isolation and safe work permits to mitigate risks.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience in PTW/LOTO coordination, preferably within large-scale industrial or energy-related projects.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to energy isolation and permit-to-work systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with teams across various disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in OSHA 30
  • Previous experience in similar roles on large-scale offshore floating production systems

What we offer 

  • Administer and issue PTW (Permit to Work) for various work scopes, ensuring proper authorization is obtained.
  • Coordinate and manage the LOTO process, ensuring proper isolation of energy sources and that all lockout-tagout procedures are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to ensure safe work practices.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of PTW and LOTO activities and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance on PTW and LOTO procedures to relevant personnel.
  • Investigate any breaches of PTW or LOTO procedures and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Support the Health and Safety team in promoting a culture of safety and compliance across the project site.

Role is to be 6 days of 10 hour shifts with the potential for 7 days as the project moves along. This is to be a 5 month contract.
