Introduction

Brunel is currently seeking a Project Engineer (Well Pads & Gathering) to support a major upstream oil and gas project.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage external engineering service providers and oversee vendor performance.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards.
  • Support procurement activities and contractor performance management.
  • Ensure integration of engineering solutions with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to site and contractor locations as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Relevant experience in engineering and project management within upstream oil & gas.
  • Experience in FEED and Execution phases, particularly in brownfield hydrocarbon projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety principles.
  • Ability to deliver complex projects in remote and challenging environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (CPEng/PMP certification desirable).
  • Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
