What are you going to do 

Main Responsibilities:

The Planning and Scheduling Engineer (PE) will oversee the Project Schedule and Progress Measurement System. This includes managing day-to-day scheduling activities, maintaining, monitoring, controlling, and integrating the overall project timeline. The PE will set up and verify the progress measurement system, and provide regular reporting. Additionally, the PE will review contractor schedules for accuracy, detail, and alignment with the project's work structure and plan, ensuring coordination with other project elements. The PE is also responsible for setting schedule requirements and frequencies for contractor deliverables, with a focus on identifying trends and deviations early.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

In addition to Level 1 and 2 responsibilities, Level 3 tasks include:

  • Maintain regular communication with project teams and the functional organization
  • Stay closely connected with planning engineers in project teams
  • Provide direction and feedback to project planning and control engineers regarding scheduling aspects
  • Promote capital efficiency within Project Services and on managed projects

Essential skills and knowledge 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • Experience in project controls with a focus on planning and scheduling
  • Relevant certifications aligned with work experience
  • Willingness to work internationally and relocate as needed for the project site
  • Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent requests for analysis

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
