Introduction

Our client are very stable agricultural business who have operations across Australia. With this role being located in regional NSW we are looking for someone who wants to commit the team and join a very trusted brand in the market. This role provides general maintenance and repairs on production plant equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and promptly address breakdowns
  • Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and fault finding to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate on equipment modifications with the Plant Maintenance Lead and contractors
  • Ensure plant equipment operates safely and reliably
  • Adhere to and promote the Quality Management System (QMS) and safety policies
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees

Essential skills and knowledge 

About You:

* Trade qualified as a fitter or equivalent * Mechanical aptitude
* Experience in planning & executing equipment maintenance * Forklift licence or willing to obtain
* Drivers licence (mandatory) HR licence (desireable)* Computer skills to plan and track maintenance schedule
