Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Project Controls & Business Services to join our E&P Business Support Department at a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing project controls, business services, and financial management within the oil and gas industry.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead and manage the Project Controls & Business Services team, ensuring the effective implementation of project controls processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
  • Monitor project performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide financial management support, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
  • Develop and implement business services strategies to support project execution and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all project controls and business services activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls and business services within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial management, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project controls software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
