Reporting to the Commissioning/System Completion Div Manager, the Head of Commissioning Integration and Handover is responsible for managing the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of for pipelines, subsea cables and onshore plant BVS.
He will also be responsible for managing the handover process from project to operation team.
Head of Commissioning Integration & Handover shall ensure that all his scope of work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.
Ensure smooth workflow and integration between different EPCC
Focal point for OESS queries and request
Ensure all Hand over dossier to Operation are as per ORP, Project procedures and contracts
Ensure start up support to Operation teams
Flexibility to work offshore when required by project
What are you going to do
Manage all execution commissioning activities to achieve commissioning schedule on target with all safety requirements especially during SIMOPS
Interface heavily with the completions team, construction and contractor personnel regarding all aspects site inspection, pre-com test, commissioning and start-up activities
Be pro-active in schedule i.e. work closely with construction team for the execution of precom activities, for mechanical completion as per schedule
Focal point for handover dossier and operation readiness
Make sure all critical deliverables are ready for handover (Spares, special tool, software licenses, markup documentation, keys with register, etc.)
Make sure that the required start-up and commissioning spare parts and special tools are available and ready to be used
Monitoring of VENDORS activities during SAT, Punchlist clearance, OTP etc.
Provide inputs to the “lessons learned” for commissioning and be the focal point for Commissioning team
Provide guidance and timely review on contractor’s commissioning execution plan and processes verifying fitness for purpose and compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards
Review and propose mitigation for Commissioning aspects of the Risk Management Plan and Monitor the mitigation when defined
Review all Commissioning changes, including justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the MOC procedure.
Attend to meetings as required, mentor the trainees to develop their project skills and experience while being on site; Maintain a register of lessons learned
Essential skills and knowledge
Engineering degree or bachelor degree with minimum 10 years experience
Min 10+ years of total experiences with at least 7 years demonstrated as pre-commissioning and commissioning lead/ manager experiences in Pipeline and subsea cable major capital projects
Min 5+ years Experiences of handling system completion in major oil and gas projects including work in brownfield. Managing the execution of ITRs, punch list and familiar with FCGH sequence
Experiences of handling Handover process from EPCI Contractor to the Company Organization at Major Oil and Gas Project including system completion dossier, spare parts and other related scope of project hand over
Experiences for manage pipeline pre-commissioning execution onshore and offshore
Worldwide pipeline pre-commissioning experience with sub-contractors or under company in particular those involved for Baseline ILI
Experiences for handling subsea cable pre-commissioning and commissioning such as composite cable and umbilical
Familiar with system completion database ICAPS and OPERCOM
Experiences for handover process and operation readiness plan, familiar with the minimum deliverable requirements
Experience to work with multiple EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
Mastering Handover process from EPCI Contractor to the Company Organization at Major Oil and Gas Project including system completion dossier, spare parts and other related scope of project hand over.
Good knowledge of pipeline precom activities.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and skilled with office software (ppt, word and excel)
Good skills in Interface coordination and support activities and documentation
Familiar with system completion database ICAPS and OPERCOM
Knowledge for Operation Readiness Plan
