Introduction

  • Lead the Brownfield and Shutdown planning Team in
    • HSE principles and lifesaving rules.
    • delivering Projects under the Shutdown Project Management System (SDMS).
    • Ensuring that all activities comply with standardized processes and are delivered to the highest possible standards.
    • Support Projects by assuring compliance to the Shutdown Project Management System (SDMS).
  • Secure alignment with Stakeholders to execute Shutdown scopes safely and on time, inclusive of
    • Planning.
    • Shutdown management strategy.
    • Compliance to SDMS.
    • Manage the interface with Stakeholders.
  • Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, deliverables to support project execution.
  • Support Company Assurance Reviews, IPR’s, PSSR’s, Start Up reviews and Business Risk Reviews.
  • The Head of Brownfield and Shutdown Planning position requires the flexibility and ability to support the project team to meet shutdown requirements and secure gatekeeper approval for each gate. The context and challenges of the position are summarized as follows:
    • To understand the key project drivers to ensure delivery of shutdown requirements as per Shutdown Management System within the agreed timeframe.
    • To communicate and influence various organization in LNG and/or with contractors in a multi-cultural environment.
    • To lead and deliver the Compression SDMS deliverables for each gate and ensure compliance to procedure.
    • To identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies

What are you going to do 

  • Provide a single point of contact for All Shutdowns Planning as per the implemented Shutdown Management system related aspects.
  • Maintains responsibility for the coordination of all Shutdown Management System deliverables and make sure deadlines are met.
  • Support PMTs and Contractors to deliver as per Shutdown Management System to achieve full compliance.
  • To track gate deliverables progress related to Shutdown Project Execution activities, in close relation with the PMT.
  • Ensures that the Shutdown Management System work progress information is accurate and on time.
  • Issue monthly progress report to PM and stakeholders for the implementation of Shutdown Management System
  • Establish and maintains detailed schedule and planning as per Shutdown Management System.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including updates on progress and any issues that arise.
  • Participates in the shutdown meetings, workshops, site visit to fabrication yards.
  • Works independently on broad assignments, guided by Company objectives and professional standards ensuring all phases of Projects Shutdown activities are conducted safely and efficiently as per the Shutdown Management System.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business or similar
  • Recommended 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years broad experience in Planning and scheduling of major projects, including at least two years involvement in the shutdown execution.
  • Experience developing work methods and form several alternative methods in accordance to established Company policies, directives from Management, schedules and professional engineering standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact Operations and PMTs confidently.
  • Managed multi discipline and multi-cultural teams.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Prepare contingency plans for the unexpected (pro-active, forward-looking).
