Introduction

What are you going to do 

Our client is a global medical devices leader with a strong and robust product portfolio

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes
  • Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure that they meet safety requirements.
  • · Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.
  • · Evaluate the effectiveness of various industrial control mechanisms.
  • · Investigate industrial accidents and injuries to determine their causes and to determine whether the incidents were avoidable or can be prevented in the future.
  • · Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements.
  • Provide EHS information, reports and training.
  • Track and review EHS management Programs.
  • Oversee and lead the coordination of monthly safety meetings, reporting of safety metrics, and departmental safety audits.
  • Ensure company’s compliance with legal requirements.
  • Drive EHS activities, ensuring compliance with Corporate EHS requirements.
  • Conduct monthly EHS inspections together with EHS committee members.
  • Promote safety and health by conducting in-house safety / health campaigns.
  • Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis of hazardous substances and evaluate hazard control methods.
  • Ensure company complies with the ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management Systems requirements.
  • Work closely with contractors, vendors and internal customers to resolve safety, environmental and health issues.
  • Licenses upkeeping for Singapore site.
  • Updating of ISO14001 and ISO45001 documentations
  • Ensure proper maintenance of building and facilities. Take lead to solve facility issues including liaising with stakeholders and meeting contractors.
  • Maintain records of facilities equipment and schedule of maintenance cycle.
  • Maintain records of cleaning, pest control and others.
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
