Introduction

Chevron are looking for an E&I Coordinator who will oversee the site construction execution activities for E&I workscopes. This is a contract role finishing in December 2026 and will be based on Barrow Island on a 2:2 roster.

What are you going to do 

The role is responsible for Construction management activities including managing key stakeholders, internal & external interfaces, contractor oversight, and effectively managing a productive worksite. Other activities include:

  • Uphold Company HES policies at all times. Attends all HES meetings as required
  • Visibly lead contractor safety management effort and enforce accountability for safe work practices at all worksites
  • Manage and implement the CoW permit system for the Construction stages of the project.
  • Enforce compliance of all required aspects of contractor's safety and quality management programs throughout execution. Review and endorse contractors' resource loading for proposed project execution schedules
  • Continuously monitor contractor performance through daily reports, safety audits and progress meetings.
  • Work with Contractors to define and or communicate change
  • Work with the Operations Science Analyst on site to deploy initiatives to maximise productivity onsite. Identify barriers and work with the Operations Science Analyst and Contractors to resolve.
  • Ongoing Constructability support facilities build designers (Perth)
  • Premobilisation reviews for future facilities contractor
  • Reviews the Contractor SIMOPS Plan and Permit-to-Work systems to ensure alignment with the Control Of Work plans and procedures
  • Identifies any Control of Work or Task Consequence Catalogue gaps and implements changes with CoW working group
  • Identifies PTW requirements for site execution

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous O&G experience
  • Previous experience in project execution and construction
  • Previous experience leading contractors
