Brunel are partnered with a leading resource company to deliver the best work opportunities for IT & Technical professionals within Australia. We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - to work on a contract basis on an exciting new project.

What are you going to do

We have an opportunity for a Data engineer to design and implement robust data models that underpin data-driven initiatives. This role involves working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with business subject matter experts to understand, challenge, translate and document requirements.
Develop data model and data integration specifications
Meet data compliances throughout the delivery, including conducting required design and build reviews.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience of working with MS technologies
Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and other Azure data services.
Proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and data pipeline optimization.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
