Introduction

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager - Civil to join our client for a 12-month contract role based in the heart of Perth CBD.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects within the mining industry from initiation through to completion
  • Ensure project delivery is on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and address any issues that arise
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance

Essential skills and knowledge 

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the Australian mining industry
  • Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects within the mining sector
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee complex projects
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or project management would be highly regarded
