Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Oil & Gas Energy Group, Brunel is presently sourcing a Stakeholder Consultation Advisor to lead and management consultation processes with key stakeholders. This will be a contract role for approximately 14 months, locate at their Melbourne Docklands premises.

About this role

  • Planning and leading consultation with relevant persons / stakeholders
  • Sharing results of consultation with relevant Business Units and assist as needed to develop plans to implement measures that we commit to adopt or propose to adopt as a result of consultation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders including industry associations to establish pathways for meaningful ongoing consultation regarding operations activities and decommissioning plans
  • Leading stakeholder and community consultation and advocacy for the Offshore activities including for all Environment Plan submissions associated with the base business activities
  • Providing stakeholder consultation support to Decommissioning project activities and Onshore business activities
  • Providing stakeholder consultation support to onshore business activities
  • Working with the broader team to deliver Quarterly Community Information Sessions
  • Preparation of annual reports
  • Writing the consultation sections for all Environment Plans and produce the consultation reports
  • Annual/quarterly stakeholder engagement forecasting
  • Producing and presenting quarterly KPI reports

Is this you?

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders including community members
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, environmental impact assessments, and the consultation processes tied to offshore and onshore activities, including frameworks like NOPSEMA and APPEA
  • A genuine passion for working with local communities and understanding their needs, concerns and interests regarding project activities
  • Strong ability to conduct gap analysis, assess regulatory changes and interpret consultation feedback to shape strategies and solutions for the business
  • Ability to manage multiple consultation projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
