Introduction

On behalf of our client, a High Profile Leading Oil & Gas Energy Group located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, Brunel is presently sourcing a Logistics Coordinator for a 12 month contract. You will provide support delivery for Brownfield Projects by ensuring that all logistics and supply chain activities meet the objectives, constraints and quality requirements.

About this role

  • Ensure logistics requirements and assumptions are integrated in project scope, plans, cost estimates, and risk profile including creation and maintaining of logistic transport envelopes used for equipment procurement
  • Support for Project Logistics Contractor management including all pre-qualification, tendering, evaluations, approvals and subsequent performance management activities
  • Ensure relevant stakeholders, ie Project Team, Co-Venture Partners and Government/Regulatory bodies are aligned with the Logistics Strategies and Plans for the project scope
  • Manage Project logistics financials and cost-efficiency, including analysing and optimising Project logistics strategies, processes and procedures
  • Responsible for Project logistics-related risk management - identifying / managing uncertainties, integrating these with work scope and engaging stakeholders in developing risk treatment plans

Is this you?

  • Extensive experience with coordination and on-ground delivery of in-country logistics of major infrastructure projects in remote locations
  • Recent PNG-specific experience is essential
  • Experience in pre-FEED and FEED project phases (within a gated project delivery framework)
  • Brownfield Hydrocarbon Projects and Gas Pipeline projects will be well received
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant Engineering disciplines OR equivalent
  • Familiarity with the capabilities of existing PNG community-based Contracting Groups
  • Strong commercial acumen and mature business judgment
  • Exceptional personnel and contractor management including conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical challenges to stakeholders at all levels
  • A delivery mindset / work ethic
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sound understanding of Project Management
  • Culturally sensitive and aware with respect to a mixed citizen and expatriate workforce
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly including to PNG
