Introduction

This role will oversee the ongoing inspection, maintenance and upgrade activities in Rio Tinto's mining operations, including autonomous equipment. In this position, you will lead cross-functional teams to enhance safety, productivity, and reliability.

About this role

You will develop and manage program schedules, identify and mitigate risks, and effectively communicate goals to project stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires consistent monitoring and reporting of program progress to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Is this you?

Prior experience in the mining industry is preferred
Prior experience in mining technology or project management
Strong administration skills
Strong communication and people skills
Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Occasional site travel

Contract duration is 12 months, with view to become permanent after this period.
