Introduction

Our client are a family run business who operate across multiple industries in the Commercial Construction Industry.

They are currently expanding and looking to add a Full time, Permanent Project Manager to the team. Ideally, they would love a team member that has the outlook to stay long term and develop in their career alongside the company.

About this role

Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role working on several projects from concept design and development stages, right through to construction and completion.

Other duties will include:

Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
Managing a skilled team of Site Managers.
Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors
Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
Manage HSE responsibly.
Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression

Is this you?

3+ years of experience managing Commercial Construction Projects within the Australian or NZ market valued $2m+ (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, a related degree or relevant experience (Required)
Experience working within a Tier 3 environment (Preffered)
The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner
Excels at organisation, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
A good understanding of Occupational Safety and Health requirement and have a proactive approach to safety.
