Introduction

Our client are a family run business who operate across multiple industries in the Commercial Construction Industry.

They are currently expanding and looking to add a Full time, Permanent Project Manager to the team. Ideally, they would love a team member that has the outlook to stay long term and develop in their career alongside the company.

About this role

Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role working on several projects from concept design and development stages, right through to construction and completion.

Other duties will include:

  • Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
  • Managing a skilled team of Site Managers.
  • Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors
  • Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
  • Manage HSE responsibly.
  • Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression

Is this you?

  • 3+ years of experience managing Commercial Construction Projects within the Australian or NZ market valued $2m+ (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, a related degree or relevant experience (Required)
  • Experience working within a Tier 3 environment (Preffered)
  • The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner
  • Excels at organisation, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
  • A good understanding of Occupational Safety and Health requirement and have a proactive approach to safety.
