Introduction

Brunel are proud to partner with a reputable Tier 2 Builder as they search for a Site Engineer to join their team.

They have a national presence with projects located throughout Australia and a turnover of $400m+ p/a. Across Brisbane they cover projects within Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Retail, Hospitality, High Rise Residential, Aged Care and Government sectors. These range up to $70m.

About this role

  • Support construction team with technical and engineering advice
  • Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, and standards
  • Coordinate with designers to resolve site issues
  • Monitor and inspect works for quality and structural integrity
  • Manage testing and keep records of results and inspections
  • Update redline and as-built drawings
  • Ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements
  • Report progress and quality issues to the project team
  • Assist in handover and closeout with quality documentation

Is this you?

  • Demonstrated experience working on Commercial Construction projects as a Site Engineer. (Required).
  • Right to work in Australia (Required - international applications can not be considered).
  • Degree in engineering or related (Required).
  • Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, and quality control.
  • Familiar with materials, methods, and testing.
  • Proficient with construction software and tools e.g. AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project etc.
  • Able to coordinate with subcontractors and consultants.
  • Understanding of codes, standards, and safety regulations.
