About this role

Focus Area Key responsibilities

  • Manage and perform the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development and drainage systems
  • Management of detailed engineering design packages
  • Specifying and providing technical input to basis of designs and reviewing/drafting technical reports
  • Establishment and continued updating of technical design standards and procedures
  • Technically support construction teams with procurement and technical queries
  • Manage and implement design changes and optimisation
  • Provide mentorship to civil engineers and junior engineers
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the Health, Safety and Environment Policies

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks Overhead Lines Design
  • Engineering Qualification
  • Good understanding of the balance between technical and commercial outcomes
  • Team oriented and highly self-motivated
  • Strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural) * Flexibility in working on multiple tasks and managing the workload
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Australian Full working rights
