Introduction

Brunel Energy is currently seeking a highly motivated Relaibility Engineer to join a tier one mining business on a 12 month contract in Port Hedland.

Defect Elimination

  • Conduct RCA & FMEA to identify and mitigate equipment risks.
  • Use data-driven solutions to resolve reliability issues.
  • Minimize failures through proactive risk management.
  • Develop strategies to extend rail asset lifespan.
  • Leverage condition monitoring & predictive maintenance for reliability.
  • Optimize asset performance through data analysis & best practices.

Strategy Optimization

  • Align maintenance & operations for efficient scheduling.
  • Lead RCM programs to enhance reliability.
  • Reduce costs without compromising safety.
  • Streamline processes & improve workflows.
  • Mentor teams & share best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory & safety compliance.
  • Manage projects effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Drive operational improvements with a safety-first approach.

Is this you?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 2+ years in reliability engineering, ideally within rail, mining, or heavy industry.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of RCA, FMEA, and RCM methodologies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in condition monitoring and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Well-versed in Australian rail safety regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Skilled in reliability software and data-driven decision-making.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for tackling challenges in dynamic environments.
