Brunel is proud to partner with a leading medicinal cannabis company to source an experienced Quality Assurance Officer for their state-of-the-art GMP-certified production facility in Collie, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing industry and play a critical role in ensuring compliance and product quality.

About this role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for overseeing quality control and GMP compliance across production and extraction. You will be a key player in maintaining regulatory standards, implementing QA processes, and ensuring all operations align with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality control and GMP compliance throughout production and extraction processes.
  • Develop and implement QA processes, internal audits, and compliance training.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to maintain and improve GMP standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and company quality management systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments, process improvements, and corrective actions to maintain product integrity.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement in compliance and operational efficiency

Is this you?

  • Experience in GMP quality management within cannabis, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, internal audits, and compliance training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality control and process improvements.
  • Relevant qualifications in science, pharmaceutical, or quality management disciplines.
