About this role

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial projects from contract initiation to final handover and completion.
  • Collaborate with the internal projects team to coordinate subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, surpass client expectations, and maintain compliance with best practices.
  • Manage both main contract and subcontract variations efficiently.
  • Foster productive relationships with clients, project stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimise service delivery, achieve cost efficiencies, and meet client needs.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of each project, including scope, costs, contract specifics, project team dynamics, scheduling, and other pertinent details.
  • Provide weekly project performance reports and strive to meet targeted project gross profit margins.
  • Utilise advanced company systems and software for streamlined project management, with comprehensive training provided.

Is this you?

  • Full working rights in Australia and local or New Zealand experience (Required).
  • Bachelor degree in Construction Manager / similar or extensive experience within the industry (Required).
  • 5+ years of experience within the Commercial Construction industry (Required).
  • Ability to organise, communicate and solve issues when they arrise.
  • Commercial accumen with some understanding of financials and contracts.
