Introduction
- We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Head to join our Project Management Department at a leading LNG company.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing the execution of large-scale LNG projects.
- This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.
About this role
- Ensure the planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of facilities, brownfield modification/retrofit projects, as per the company's Project Management System while adhering to Safety, Health, and Environment Performance for Projects in the assigned area of responsibilities.
- Develop and mentor the project team and national engineers.
- Analyze and develop optimized project execution schedules, scope of work, constructability, and installability with contractors and the company.
- Act as the project interface management focal point, accountable for interface management between various parties such as the company, contractors, subcontractors, and hook-up/commissioning teams.
- Oversee the onshore construction execution campaign.
- Ensure the integration of company lessons learned within the contractor's work scope and the delivery of new lessons learned to the company, primarily regarding project execution.
- Manage expectations with the integrated activity plan to ensure that project and LNG delivery are aligned.
- Deliver project milestones in support of the project schedule, including schedule delivery and cost management within time and budget.
- Review and support change orders as applicable.
Is this you?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in a major projects environment within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience developing work methods and forming several alternative methods in accordance with established company policies, directives from management, schedules, and professional engineering standards.
- Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessment processes and applications.
- Proven ability to manage multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
- Experience providing recommendations on tenders, engineering designs, and general controls of contractors.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
- Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
