Introduction
- We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Project Controls & Business Services to join our E&P Business Support Department at a leading LNG company.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing project controls, business services, and financial management within the oil and gas industry.
- This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.
About this role
- Lead and manage the Project Controls & Business Services team, ensuring the effective implementation of project controls processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
- Monitor project performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide financial management support, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
- Develop and implement business services strategies to support project execution and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all project controls and business services activities.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Is this you?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls and business services within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial management, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project controls software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
- Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
