Introduction

We are seeking a Project Engineer with SPRY (Safety and Productivity Risk Yield) experience to manage and deliver mining projects on a FIFO 8&6 roster from Brisbane, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your SPRY expertise to drive safety improvements, manage risks, and enhance productivity across key mining operations.

About this role

Project Management: Lead and manage mining projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and operational standards.
SPRY Implementation: Utilize SPRY principles to assess, mitigate, and monitor safety and productivity risks across multiple sites.
Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including operations, safety, and maintenance, to ensure project goals are achieved.
Compliance: Ensure projects comply with all relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Is this you?

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing mining projects, particularly those focused on safety, productivity, and risk management.
Expertise in SPRY and the application of these principles in a mining context.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and collaborate effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement.
