About this role

The role quires a candidate with prior experience in a similar position, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully delivering high-level commissioning across multiple projects.

  • Oversee and coordinate commissioning resources, including engineers and trades, to meet project schedules
  • Review and approve Inspection Test Records (ITRs) throughout commissioning phases (C2, C3, C4)
  • Ensure discipline documentation and drawings are maintained and updated per SDRL and CDMS requirements
  • Participate in punch list walkdowns and manage outstanding actions
  • Approve commissioning high voltage switching plans and ensure safe energization procedures are followed
  • Review Discipline Acceptance Certificates to progress to Notice of Energisation and Function Testing
  • Support the development and execution of the Commissioning Management Plan (CMS)
  • Coordinate vendors to align with commissioning schedules
  • Identify project risks and opportunities to drive efficiency across teams
  • Sign off on Completion Test Packages (CTPs) at each stage
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to site teams
  • Ensure commissioning procedures are followed and updated as required

Is this you?

  • WA-Grade Electrical License or Tertiary Qualification (minimum requirement)
  • Extensive experience in commissioning leadership and managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong background in project/commissioning management within the mining sector
  • Proven ability to influence and operate within large, dynamic business environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • High Voltage Switching experience essential
