Introduction

Our client are a Tier 3 builder with projects across Queensland in the Government, Defense, Retail, Aged Care, Healthcare and Commercial industries. They're looking to bring on board a new Junior Foreman / Foreman due to an increase in workload.

With 15+ years already operating within industry and a vast wealth of construction knowledge amongst their senior staff, they're on an incredible journey of growth with turnover growing year on year ($100m+ last year across QLD).

About this role

Join an established team with a strong Site Manager, PM and CA. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, guide, and mentor the on-site team and trade partners.
  • Strategically manage the project program.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
  • Play a hands-on role, both with and without tools, to meet project demands.
  • Implement a solution-based approach to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee Health & Safety, quality, cost control, and budgeting.
  • Ensure the project meets its Key Performance Objectives.
  • Adhere to and ensure the team follows relevant policies, codes, and acts.
  • Manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Direct and lead site meetings and toolbox sessions.

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • You will come from a trade background (Carpentry preferred).
  • Some experience delivering projects within a foreman role preferred but candidates who are keen to take the step up to managing their own jobs will be considered for a Jnr rol.
  • Can adapt to deliver projects across New Build, Fit Out and Refurbishment.
  • Able to maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work site.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build various stakeholder relationships.
