Introduction

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager - Civil to join our client for a 12-month contract role based in the heart of Perth CBD.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee civil engineering projects within the mining industry from initiation through to completion
Ensure project delivery is on time, within scope, and on budget
Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and address any issues that arise
Monitor and report on project progress and performance

Is this you?

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the Australian mining industry
Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects within the mining sector
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
Strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee complex projects
Relevant qualifications in engineering or project management would be highly regarded
