Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is presently sourcing a Junior Cost Controller based at their luxurious premises located in the heart of city! You will be responsible for the management of the daily Cost Control activities across the Project.

About this role

  • Daily cost controls activities under the supervision of Senior Cost Controller
  • Processing - CTRs / PRs / POs
  • Checking contractor invoices submissions against the Purchase Order and approving Service Entry Sheets
  • Review and verify EPC Contractor invoices and supporting documentation and EPC Contractor monthly cost report and the MSC Contractor invoices and supporting documentation
  • End of Month activities including SAP downloads, Project Cost Database updates using MS Excel Spreadsheet)
  • Contribution to other Project Management activities such as Contract Management, Planning, Document Control, Project Administrator - on an ad hoc basis

Is this you?

  • Preferably a Bachelor of Commerce / Business Degree OR relevant work experience
  • Previous Cost Control within the Oil & Gas industry sector will be desirable OR EPCI / MSC / Resources industry experience
  • MS Excel (Pivot Tables; Charts; advanced formulas)
  • Previous SAP experience is essential
  • A working knowledge of Power BI , ie reviewing reports
  • MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative attitude
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
