Introduction

We are seeking a Senior Treatment Design Engineer to join our team and take on exciting challenges in the design and delivery of water treatment and recovery infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment. The role offers a blend of both in-office and home-based work after you are trained and proficient in your tasks.

About this role

What the role will involve:

Design & Engineering: Undertake and coordinate complex concept, engineering, and detailed design activities for water and water resource recovery treatment infrastructure.Consultant Management: Prepare job briefs for the engagement of consultants, evaluate consultant proposals, and provide leadership in design management.
Project Oversight: Serve as the Design Manager for nominated projects, ensuring all outputs meet agreed standards, timeframes, and cost expectations.Tender Management: Manage the preparation of tender documents, examine tenders, and make recommendations to ensure optimal project outcomes.

Is this you?

  • Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline is a must
  • Demonstrated experience in design, commissioning, operations, or project management, specifically within the water and water resource recovery sector.
  • Experience in water and water resource recovery planning, design of infrastructure assets and systems.
  • Strong ability to prepare and present technical reports and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
