The primary focus of the role is the inspection of Rotary Shoulder Connections. While the specific thread elements and inspection requirements can be taught, candidates must already have a sound understanding of precision measuring equipment and be confident using tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers and depth micrometers. You will be responsible for accurately reading measurements, applying good measurement practices, verifying products against engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring quality requirements are met before product release. The position will also support quality documentation, non-conformance reporting, calibration control, gauge room management and continuous improvement activities across the workshop. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on components, subassemblies and finished products Inspect Rotary Shoulder Connections and associated precision components Use precision measuring equipment including vernier calipers, micrometers and depth micrometers Verify product conformity against drawings, specifications, tolerances and customer requirements Complete in-process and final inspections in line with inspection criteria and company procedures Accurately record, document and report inspection outcomes Identify, report and assist with investigation of non-conformances or quality issues Prepare, compile and verify Certificates of Conformance and supporting quality documentation Perform in-house calibration and functional checks of measuring and testing equipment Maintain calibration records, certificates and gauge control requirements Control, issue and maintain gauges and measuring equipment through the gauge room Provide guidance and support to operators on quality control responsibilities Support production and other departments in resolving quality-related matters Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Heritage Field Supervisor

Reporting to the Superintendent Heritage Fieldwork, you will be responsible for facilitating the safe and effective delivery of cultural heritage field survey programs. This role would suit a confident field leader who enjoys working outdoors, has strong safety leadership skills, and can coordinate people, logistics and project requirements in remote environments. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, Traditional Owners and external stakeholders to ensure survey activities are delivered safely, respectfully and in line with required systems, procedures and schedules. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Supervising heritage field survey teams, including contractors and Traditional Owners Supporting the safe delivery of in-field cultural heritage survey works Managing contractors involved in the heritage survey program Developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Preparing, managing and implementing initial response plans and journey management plans Ensuring field activities are conducted in line with safety systems, processes and critical risk management requirements Maintaining cultural heritage fieldwork equipment, assets and fleet Supporting social surrounds, archaeological, ethnographic, botanical and environmental survey works involving Traditional Owner groups Coaching survey participants in line with HSEC and cultural heritage procedures Bringing together people, logistics and project requirements to support successful field delivery

This is a business with a strong track record delivering quality projects and a reputation for doing things the right way. This is a key role within the business, where you'll take ownership of the commercial performance across a range of complex projects. You'll work closely with Project Directors, site teams and clients to ensure projects are well-managed commercially from start to finish.
