Introduction

On behalf of our client, Chevron Australia, one of the world's leading Integrated Energy Companies, Brunel are presently recruiting an experienced Wells Material & Logistics Coordinator. This is a residential role open to candidates residing in Dampier / Karratha. To commence early February 2025 to end July 2025. Approx first 2 months will be 8 hrs per day Mon-Fri, then to transition to a 2x2 roster for the duration of the contract.

What are you going to do 

The Supply Base Operations includes preparation of freight for transport, material handling, local transport, material preparation and load preparation. Operational activities will include a chain of responsibility and supervision of contractors in daily execution of all operational tasks.

  • Providing safe, reliable and efficient supply base and material movement services to the Company Wells E&A Campaign
  • Point of Contact for Perth Logistics and Wells Engineers to pick equipment from, arrange inspection, recertification, modification
  • Coordinate make up of shoe joints with local machine shops as directed by Wells
  • Resource & equipment scheduling for Yard Operations
  • Coordinating and monitoring Material handling of tubular, ISO tanks and containers / Wash pad operations with Tenaris
  • Oversight of freight received into Supply Base
  • Non-Conformance Reporting
  • Management of freight movements within Company area of operations and between local Vendors
  • Ensure all manifests and associated documentation is completed before freight is moved including all Dangerous Goods and offshore lift compliance requirements
  • Logistics POC (Point of Contact) for out of hours freight queries including hotshot transport and emergency air freight
  • Oversight of third party freight received into Supply Base
  • Coordinating and monitoring of reverse freight for material & equipment returns to Vendors
  • Liaise with other Supply Base Operations to ensure continuity of end to end logistics chain
  • Proactively participates in the planning and engagement of Supply Base service providers to ensure the most economical, efficient and safe processes are in place to meet the delivery and receipt of Supply Chain Customers requirements
  • Assist identifying Non-Inventory material for stock or scrap
  • Coordinate & manage all Bulks to be sent offshore
  • Local vessel operations planning & scheduling
  • Coordinating and monitoring all vessel loading & unloading activities / vessel movements in and out of Dampier Port Authority

Requirements

  • TLID2004A Load and Unload Goods/Cargo and TLIA1001A Secure Cargo
  • TLID2707D Prepare for Transport of Dangerous Goods
  • Certificate II in Transport & Logistics
  • Applied First Aid
  • Supervisor Essentials Workshop (SEW)
  • Defensive Driver Training / Class C Driving Licence
  • MSIC Certification
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in busy operational environment
  • Developed planning, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to schedule, arrange, coordinate, disseminate and supervise
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry practice & equipment
  • High level of personal commitment to HSE
