Introduction

  • Responsible for leading the safe and effective planning and execution of transportation & installation of risers, subsea facilities and tie-ins activities for Project.
  • Lead coordination all T&I related offshore activities and accountable for the reviewing and endorsing of
  • Engineering deliverables, work preparation, risk assessment, SIMOPS and vessel acceptance.
  • Strives to achieve the best-in-class HSE and Quality performances under multicultural environment and challenging Project Objectives.

What are you going to do 

  • Understanding & familiarity of the Project scope and the technical, quality & safety requirements including the applicable regulations, the Project procedures and Company rules.
  • Lead coordination, review and validation of the technical and execution deliverables associated with the transportation & installation engineering and execution scope including:
    • Stalk-on risers loadout, transportation and installation analysis and execution
    • Subsea activities by MSV and DSV e.g. sleepers, riser clamps, spool tie-ins, etc.
  • Review and endorse leading to approval of T&I plans and schedule and ensure alignment with integrated plan and schedule, proper coordination with other LNG Departments and other Projects.
  • Support implementation of T&I safety leadership and safe execution of the work including adherence with LNG work management systems regarding SIMOPS, permit to work and marine operations, support Contractor’s HSE execution, and assist Project Manager and leadership team in delivering the Project Objectives.
  • Technical review and endorsement lead to the approval of the T&I design and operational changes, deviations and exceptions in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
  • Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with T&I execution plans
  • Provide regular and efficient reporting to provide Management with a good overview of the progress achievements and leading indicators towards achieving objectives
  • Monitor offshore execution progress against the offshore integrated schedule, ensuring Contractor daily activities and work downtime are adequately recorded and analyzed.
  • Highlight timely to Management attention, any signs of poor CONTRACTOR performance and take the lead for providing immediate corrective action proposals.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation.
  • OPITO certification is considered as a plus.
  • Minimum 08 of experience with demonstrated T&I execution experience in a leading role, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience of offshore installation vessels, especially pipeline and risers’ installations, cable installations, barge/vessel/DSV operations.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge in offshore installation: heavy lifts, pipeline/cable, riser stalk-on in, load-out and transportation.
  • Worldwide experience with Offshore Installation Contractors.
  • Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment processes and applications. Good knowledge of international codes / Standards.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy in office and relevant technical applications
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others to meet project objectives
  • Capacity to take workload, initiatives and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal, technical and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and ability to communicate with different disciplines and people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

    • Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance (onshore)
    • All Inclusive day rate in USD for (offshore)
  • Work Schedule:
    • 10 Hours / 6 Days (Onshore)
    • 28 Days On / 28 Days Off (Offshore)
  • Duration:
    • May 2028 with possible extension
  • Location:
    • Qatar, 70% Onshore / 30% Offshore
