Specialist Radiologische en Chemische Karakterisatie

What are you going to do

Functie:

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitwerken van methodologieën en het bepalen van meetstrategieën in het kader van een programma voor radiologische en chemische karakterisatie van radioactieve afvalstoffen. Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams en externe instanties zoals NIRAS om te voldoen aan de geldende regelgeving en de operationele behoeften van de uitbatingsafdelingen.

Resultaatsgebieden:

Ontwikkeling en goedkeuring methodologieën:

Ontwikkelen van methodes om courant en historisch afval te karakteriseren.
Opvolgen van het goedkeuringsproces met interne stakeholders en NIRAS.
Verdedigen en verduidelijken van methodes richting NIRAS.

Operationele ondersteuning:

Technische ondersteuning bieden bij karakterisering van nucleaire afvalstoffen.
Deelname aan de uitbating van niet-destructieve meetinstallaties.
Opvolging van afvalverwerking op basis van goedgekeurde methodes.

Interpretatie en analyse:

Interpreteren van meetgegevens (gammaspectrometrie, neutronentelling).
Evalueren van afvalgegevens en garanderen van datacorrectheid.

Technische studies en ondersteuning:

Uitvoeren van afschermings- en kritikaliteitsberekeningen.
Evalueren van dosisimpact bij diverse verwerkingsscenario's.
Ondersteunen van afvalboekhouding, conformiteitsdossiers en nucleair materiaalbeheer.

Essential skills and knowledge

Wat breng je mee als specialist?

Een master Industrieel Ingenieur, bij voorkeur met een specialisatie in elektromechanica of nucleaire technologie.
Relevante ervaring in de nucleaire sector en/of projectbeheer.
Sterk analytisch vermogen en vaardigheid in rapportage en datainterpretatie.
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, ook richting externe instanties.
Bij voorkeur tweetalig Nederlands/Frans.
