Introduction

A major operator in the energy sector is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultant for a 24-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and management of security solutions within their SAP S/4HANA Programme, providing critical support in a high-stakes, collaborative environment.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions for the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP IAG, and SAP IAS.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures across SAP S/4HANA modules.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on security-related topics.

Working Context

  • Reporting to and working under the direction of the S/4HANA Programme Lead.
  • Primary location at the operator's Perth office, with potential for flexible hours or work-from-home options.
  • Standard working hours are approximately 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday.

Programme Requirements

  • Comprehensive SAP S/4HANA security management, covering the SAP S/4HANA suite and related SAP products.
  • Developing security policies for SAP technologies, including SAP SuccessFactors, SAP IAS/IPS, and SAP IAG in complex, integrated environments.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP Security consulting experience, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations in the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and experience with SAP security tools.
  • Cross-functional expertise across S/4HANA modules (e.g., Procurement, Finance, HCM, Asset Management, Logistics).
  • Proven experience in large-scale SAP implementations and a solid understanding of SOX compliance.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
