Introduction

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting safety systems, procedures, and outcomes across multiple locations.

What are you going to do 

  • Managing compliance with the company's HSE management systems
  • Overseeing hazardous materials (radiation, explosives, and chemicals)
  • Contributing to HSE aspects of tenders and audits
  • Participating in incident investigations and emergency response coordination
  • Conducting regular field audits and facility inspections
  • Enhancing safety procedures and risk assessments
  • Ensuring correct storage and handling of hazardous substances
  • Maintaining accurate safety documentation and records

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field
  • Incident investigation experience
  • Certificate IV in Work Health Safety
  • Strong experience operating in a similar HSE advisory role
  • Oil and gas industry experience
  • Solid understanding of Australian HSE legislation
