Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector to join our Integrity & Reliability Engineering Department at a leading LNG company.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and reliability of engineering processes and systems.
This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do

Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, material certificates, and welding procedures.
Monitor and report on the quality performance of contractors and suppliers.
Identify and report non-conformances, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
Conduct audits and assessments of quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality-related matters.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and promote safe practices through field-based visits.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in using inspection and testing tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
