What are you going to do
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work culture.
- Aid the Project Managers on Complex Projects
- Drive effective resource utilization and coordinate workload across team. Prioritize and assign work.
- Act as a connection between the PM team and other internal teams as needed.
- Assist in the development of preliminary planning(s) at bid phase, to be included in our offers to Customers.
- Drive continuous improvement of Planning activity, learning from experience, and sharing best practices.
- Travel to customer sites and Veolia offices as needed for project and team support including but not limited to Veolia team training and customer meetings.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as Planner in Water and/or Industrial Construction projects.
- Deep knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America, and internationally as required.
- Precise and meticulous.
- Team player.
- Focus on customer relationships.
- Ability to negotiate.
- Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn about equipment and process related to the company's portfolio.
- Ability to plan multiple priorities and focus on the most important ones.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new problems, clients, and situations.
- Ability to propose decisions without all the information.
