- The Optimization and Capital Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing optimization strategies for refinery operations and capital investment projects.
- This role involves analyzing data, modeling refinery processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
About this role
- Develop and maintain optimization models for refinery processes.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and finance teams to identify and evaluate capital projects.
- Conduct economic analysis to determine project feasibility and return on investment.
- Support the development of long-term capital plans and budgets.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in refinery optimization technologies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support for operational troubleshooting and process improvements.
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in functions of refinery, petrochemicals or LNGI facilities including working in corporate functions
- Additional Training in project monitoring software – Primavera, Project economics and IT applications
