Introduction

Instrumentation Engineer - Contract Position in LondonWe are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our global client on one of the largest LNG projects in the industry right now.

Start date: ASAP

Location: London (UK)

Duration: 12 Months (renewable)

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve around 5,000 technical documents related to Instrumentation discipline.
  • Implement engineering specifications and assure quality in procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Emphasize safety throughout design activities, adhering to Project HSE requirements.
  • Provide expertise in Instrumentation for a multiple train LNG facility, including various on-line process analyzers.
  • Evaluate instrument data sheets and participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOPs and safety meetings.
  • Interface with Contractor Instrumentation Engineering site leads for coordinated efforts.
  • Oversight of planning and execution activities focusing on Instrumentation engineering.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline.
  • Registration as a Charted Engineer, PE or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient in English language.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas and large projects.
