Introduction

  • Guide and perform information management and handover activities for the Offshore projects scopes to ensure adherence and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Provides visible safety leadership through active participation in the Offshore Project Safety Program
  • Demonstrates a matured comprehensive knowledge in leading development of information management, handover and reporting requirements in complicated situations that may be encountered in project execution and close-out periods.
  • Maintains timeliness and quality of documentation to support early resolution of issues.
  • Responsible to develop an effective database to capture and store Project History.
  • Able to solve complex tasks within time constraints, with minimal guidance; collaborate with PMT’s and produce comprehensive documentation with full alignment from the project team.

What are you going to do 

  • Supervises PMT, checking for correctness and completeness, of Information Management activities from Contractors and Subcontractors
  • Verifies and coordinates the Master Document Registers (MDR) and allocates distribution of documents in accordance with the Project’s Document Distribution Matrix (DDM).
  • Supervises Contractor assigned Document Controllers in maintaining the transmittal log or register, and receipt of logging and distributing correspondence.
  • Assists in maintaining correspondence registers.
  • Distributes any other Project documents in accordance with PMT requirements and supervises maintaining the Project’s electronic filing system.
  • Assists in compiling periodic management reports.
  • Provides general daily assistance to the PMT in all matters relating to technical documentation and correspondence.
  • Ensures adherence of COMPANY and Contractor PMTs to Project Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensures Early and handover documentation is scheduled to be delivered in time to end users and asset owners to facilitate the later transfer of the care and custody of the asset.
  • Attend and prompt weekly discipline meetings with counterparts from internal disciplines, and Contractor organization to resolve any concerns and troubleshoot any issues raised.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technology or Business Administration with relevant experience
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role.
  • Significant practical knowledge of hard copy and electronic document control and information management systems.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Successful track record in similar roles in large international projects.
  • Computer literacy and development skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
