Introduction

  • Fully responsible and accountable for providing engineering drafting (manually and in CADD) and other related services to develop schematic sketches and/or conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings for Company Industrial Cities (RLC, MIC and DCA).
  • Errors in design, specification or drafting could result in delays to project schedule with associated over expenditure.

What are you going to do 

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings based on guidelines, instructions and sketches which are prepared by the Designer and various engineers and planners.
  • Check drawings to ensure its accuracy and completeness before submitting to supervisor for review.
  • Carry-out the drafting requirements for new development project work or plan improvement on existing facilities.
  • Prepare the conceptual design drawings provided by various engineering disciplines, which are for acceptance and approval.
  • Develops the conceptual and schematic drawings into design drawings in accordance with the assigned field of expertise and conforms to the Company Engineering Standards for Development of Technical Drawings (QP-ENG-STD-018).
  • Update the GIS Database, Prepare Map and Shapefiles.
  • Data conversion and manipulation of various files (AutoCAD Drawings, JPEG, TIFF, PDF, Shapefiles, etc.) including the coordinate conversion of surveyed data from WGS84 or Nahrwan Datum to QND and vice versa.
  • Perform data entry in the GIS tables associated with the Business table so that retrieval of related information is accessible for the users in Company Industrial Cities.
  • Provide assistance to consolidate the as-built drawings of Company Industrial Cities (RLC, MIC and DCA) projects, stakeholders or End-users projects.
  • Organize, maintain and monitor the proper filling of all requested and developed drawings in an organized and systematic documentation of drawing index for an efficient and retrieval.
  • Prepare special drawings for presentation purposes which are technical and administrative in its format such as graphs and bar chart, tabular data and other forms of visual aid representations.
  • Develop new drawings and update project as-built drawings through Management of Change Request (MOC) Project As-built drawings in RLC and MIC as requested by concerned engineering departments within the Company Industrial Cities.
  • Take actions to all assigned requests through CAD, GIS and Survey Request System (CGSRS).
  • Operate and allocate the asset tag numbers with reference to the Company Engineering Standard (ES.0.07.0025) Equipment Identification and Tag Numbering System to Company Industrial Cities (RLC and MIC only).
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by Supervisor.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Completion of secondary education following by at least two (2) years full time training in drafting in various engineering disciplines.
  • Strong proficiency in English language is a must.
  • Up to five years of design and drafting experience preferably in Oil and Gas.
  • Good working experience in AutoCAD software packages.
  • Good Working knowledge in ESRI ArcGIS Software.
