Introduction

What are you going to do 

The Civil Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day civil construction activities on site. This will include ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to a high standard of quality, as well as managing a team of contractors and sub-contractors.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule
  • Managing and coordinating resources to ensure efficient and effective use of time and materials
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety standards and guidelines
  • Liaising with other project stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and other contractors
  • Providing regular reports on project progress and any issues that arise

Essential skills and knowledge 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a focus on civil construction
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team of contractors and sub-contractors
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other project stakeholders
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A commitment to safety and quality
