We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician with a strong background in FIFO work and a willingness to FIFO to a well-established goldmine in Papua New Guinea. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable company in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

What are you going to do

As an Auto Electrician with Brunel Papua New Guinea, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components in a range of vehicles and heavy machinery. You will be working on a FIFO basis, with a roster of 22 days on, 20 days off, and that will be based in Papua New Guinea. Your duties will include, but not limited to:

Inspecting, testing and diagnosing electrical systems and components
Repairing and replacing faulty electrical parts
Installing, testing and repairing electronic equipment and accessories
Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Essential skills and knowledge

List of requirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Trade qualification in Auto Electrical or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Auto Electrician
Experience working in a FIFO environment
Knowledge of heavy machinery and mining equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work in Papua New Guinea
